Lauren Jane is an award-winning writer, adventurer, artist and mother.

She is currently based in Montreal, where she divides her time between writing, practicing and teaching yoga, playing with clay and having adventures in her daily life.

As well as writing regularly in her family travel blog, Travel Food Family, she also writes for Healthy Harvest House and the Warehouse, and is working on a travelogue about her family’s four-month road trip around North America.

With a graduate diploma in Communications Studies from Concordia University and an Honours Degree in English from McGill University, LJ has worked in factual film production, travel journalism, theatre, web design, and as a corporate copywriter.

She was featured in a photo essay and video by Chloe Ellingson in the Toronto Star on Mother’s Day 2013.
